I'd like to wish my fellow Militia pilots good luck.
I will try to join you (ie- be online).
Or maybe I'll use your diversion to capture Rens!!! (oh sh*t I can't).

Well now that all the "handbags" have been thrown...
Frankly, I think both sides of the conflict have a lot to be proud about. You just made Huola a system to be remembered and marked in the New Eden history annuals for the Summer 2014.
Just a spectator here, mostly, with the odd time online to participate. I love logging in and enjoying PvP inside 10mins.
This is what you should all be talking about.
The result about Sovereignty is yet to be determined. ... ... ... ... "Remedy this situation or you shall live out the rest of your life in a pain amplifier" |

Zen Guerrilla wrote:It seems that the Amarr faction is getting frustrated due to the Minmatar faction controlling the system control %. I wouldn't be suprised if the Amarr faction gave up soon due to losing the isk war so heavily. I am sure we will see their numbers dwindle as they are increasingly unable to replace their losses due to losing the warzone.
It seems that the forum posting faction is getting tired fingers due to the lack of inspired posting %. I wouldn't be surprised if the forum posting faction gave up soon due to lack of inspiration. I am sure the thread posts will dwindle and then be flamed until it reaches locked status where both sides will declare victory but it will be CCP that wins as usual.

It is a shame that there is not an Amarrian EU TZ Core as from days of old. I know we're guilty of being part-timers at the moment. There is a will (no a need to fight) but RL > game.
FW does need a bit of repopulation in the Min / Amarr zone so that it is not EU vs US. That is what the correct changes to FW would bring, if only they'd think about the big picture and implement a good number of changes that precipitate growth in FW population.
FW is imbalanced (and does not really have the correct "draw") compared to other Eve activities.
One final thing I've remembered: Most wars for Eve Sov (null applies) have been won by not giving the enemy what they want. "Remedy this situation or you shall live out the rest of your life in a pain amplifier" |

Which do you think you prefer?
Personally, I think it is great when someone makes a "declaration of intent" and then tries to act upon it.
Most of the world of dull-sec used to wait on the next post from Sir Molle on CAOD stating "Nice system we'll take it". Win or lose it added a nice edge to the conflict that took place.

Both sides are guilty: (insert one of the following)
- Complaint about not fighting in the same hulls
- Complaint about bringing more enemies
- Complaint about PvE not PvP
- Complaint about EW
- Complaint about Logi
- Complaint about Boosed Pimped Kitey Sheet

Merely Runaway wrote:...but Christine this thread is like an extension of Jane Elliott's Brown-eyed / Blue-eyed experiment. The continuation of this thread isn't just GRR slavers vs. GRR heathens + fun-in-space-pixels. It's actually fostering RL hatred for the opposing side. Bio and their betrayal of the Minmatar is more keenly felt than mere pixels while AVNG imploding is genuinely heart warming to many who've been at the other end of their aggressive smack for years. The Amarr are the Amarr and the Minmatar are Minmatar and as time goes on we can't help but absorb some of the aspects of what we're all supposed to represent and if you doubt this then consider the very first decision you made in this game to choose one side over another and how it was influenced by the faction descriptions that we felt most appealing. I say let this thread continue... let us nail our colours to the mast and go down fighting with our respective ships.
Mmmmm, interesting POV
I don't think I can agree. Maybe I am in the minority that considers this world as just a mechanism for play?
However, my 1st toon was Gallente and within 3 mnths was fighting PIE with Golan Trevize, Hardin/Siobhan and Ethdium Bromide. Flying alongside Maggot and Zoolkhan of FU as part of FOM
Immersion seemed a bigger possibility then but was unrealised potential until CcP started to tap into FW as a concept.
More recently I chose Amarr because I saw it as playing Eve set "on hard mode". It's more fun.
So no in game character traits do not reflect RL views. "Remedy this situation or you shall live out the rest of your life in a pain amplifier" |
